Privacy Statement

TextToVideo.me collects the following categories of data:

• IP Address: Used to enforce our daily free-tier limit (5 frames per IP). Stored alongside a Unix timestamp in our SQLite database. Not linked to any personal profile.
• Waitlist Email (Optional): If you join the video generation waitlist, your email address is stored in a JSON file on our server. Used only to notify you when video generation launches. Never shared or sold.
• Scene Descriptions / Prompts: Prompts submitted for frame generation are transmitted to OpenRouter and its model providers. We do not retain prompts in our own database.
• Browser localStorage: Frame history is stored in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.

If you submit your email to join the video generation waitlist:

• Your email is stored in data/waitlist.json on our server
• We will send you exactly one notification when video generation launches
• We will never send marketing emails, newsletters, or promotions
• You may request removal at any time by emailing hello@texttovideo.me

We share your data only with the following parties, only as required to deliver the service:

• OpenRouter: Your scene description is transmitted to openrouter.ai for AI processing. Their privacy policy governs that data.
• Model Providers: OpenRouter may forward prompts to Stability AI, Black Forest Labs, or OpenAI depending on your model selection.

We do not sell, trade, or rent any personal data to any party.

TextToVideo.me does not use cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics. There is no Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar tool deployed on this site. We believe in minimal data collection.

Rate limit records (IP + timestamp) are retained indefinitely but are only meaningful for the current calendar day. Waitlist emails are retained until you request removal or until the video generation feature launches and notifications are sent.

You have the right to:

• Request deletion of any waitlist email
• Request information about what data we hold associated with your IP
• Request deletion of rate limit records
